Rubber
They are used to improve the processing of natural and synthetic rubber.
Our waxes act as lubricant and tack regulators in rubber compounds. They have a very good compatibility with rubber in which they are superior to other waxes, fatty acids and mineral oils. By adding a small percentage of polyethylene wax, the viscosity can be reduced as well as the adherence to the cylinders. The wax can be added at any stage of the mixing process although the first stage is preferable as it allows to increase the amount of pigments and fillers. It increases the efficiency and working conditions, shortening mixing times and only slightly affecting the inherent tack of the rubber compound. Demoulding properties are also increased with no interference in the vulcanisation speed and the characteristics of the finished products.
